Therapeutic horsemanship
Awareness of and demand for the therapeutic benefit of horses, nature, and art are growing and helping more and more people who struggle with anxiety, have autism, addiction, homelessness, abuse, well-being issues and more.
We have noticed that sometimes children are drawn towards being in nature and with animals and it can help them with their lives including confidence, processing emotions, learning and wellbeing in general, we have also noticed that some of the most withdrawn children have so much potential and being in nature and/or with horses can unlock their potential…
Appropriate animals
We have five horses in training that we know extremely well and trust having looked after them as part of our family many years. These are all mature animals and their behaviour reflects the calm established home and older experienced ages.
Miniature horses
We have recently welcomed a miniature horse called Sparkle. Miniature horse are very special and in particular with therapy because they have the wonderfully calm nature or big horses packaged in a tiny adorable body that is of course less intimidating than a bigger animal…
Safe surroundings & homely spaces
The therapeutic horsemanship will mainly take place in the stable area which is newly purpose built for easy safe care of both horses and the comfort of participants and their careers.
This infra structure includes warm insulated toilet, hand washing, indoor relaxation and activity area and purpose built stables adjoining fenced yard for grooming etc.
The horses will be in fenced fields or their stables.
